5' x 8' Moving table machine in a front-to-back configuration with a single zone vacuum plenum, and manual material stops around the table perimeter.
Equipped with: (1) 10 HP HSD BT-30 Type, push button (see below upgrade), quick change routing spindle, variable spindle speed from 3,000 - 24,000 RPM.
? Features: High performance closed loop SEIMENS AC Servo motors driving precision ball screws on all axes with feed speeds up to 1,200 IPM on the X- & Y-axis and 600 IPM on the Z-axis; way & ball screw bearings serviced by an automatic lubrication system.

Controller: THERMWOOD "91000" PC Based, OS2 Control, 3-axis simultaneous motion, hand held programmer with pulse generator, 14" color monitor, 20.4 GB hard drive, CD ROM drive, 3-1/2" floppy disk drive, 85-key/101-emulation Qwerty keyboard for data entry, network card, and RS-232 port for PC communications, feed rate & spindle speed override; mounted in an air conditioned Nema rated control cabinet.
? Comes complete with: (2) 7.5 HP vacuum pumps and (1) 10 HP vacuum pump (total of 25 HP of vacuum producers), assorted tooling, and original documentation and manuals.
Retrofit/Upgrade: In 2007 this machine was upgraded by THERMWOOD at their premises, with a 5-position tool rack for automatic tool changing, and upgraded to THERMWOOD'S latest 9100 Control System WINDOWS based for E-Cabinet use. This software is free to use (upon registration), powerful and user friendly.
Additional Work: Approx $30,000 of total work in 2007, by THERMWOOD, also included: New Z-axis assembly, replaced trackway, lead screw bearings and ballnuts, and linear axis leadscrew compensation.
