For a competitive edge in specialty plaque manufacturing, the DES-1 automated edge finishing system is the professional choice for mid-to-high-volume operations. the continuous feed unit is easy to set up and operate, performing both shaping and foil application steps in a single pass. The DES-1 first trims and bevels the mounted substrate, then automatically applies the thermal-set decorative edge foil border.

Used by plaque and block mounters worldwide, this high quality edge finishing machine is designed to finish the edges
of medium density fiber board (MDF) or tempered Masonite (hardboard) after the images have been mounted and
laminated onto the board. The edger features several stations on a conveyor that bevel (45 degree bevel), sand and apply an
edge foil all in one single pass.
