The Canon DreamLabo 5000 shown in the image is a high-speed, commercial production inkjet photo printer designed as an alternative to traditional silver halide wet labs. It utilizes proprietary FINE print head technology and a 7-color dye-based ink system.
Specifications:
- Resolution: Up to 2400 × 1200 dpi
- Print Speed: Up to 1,180 pages per hour for single-sided 8"×10" output (or around 1,000 duplex A4 pages/hour)
- Ink System: 7 dye-based inks (Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Photo Cyan, Photo Magenta, Gray)
- Max Print Width: Up to 12 inches (approx. 305 mm) wide roll paper.
