The Fletcher Model 8400 is an older, wall-mounted multi-material cutter, commonly used in frame shops for cutting glass, plastic, and matboard. Replaced by the F-3000 series in the early 1990s, the 8400 is considered a reliable "workhorse"

Functionality: Designed to cut glass, plastic, and matboard up to 1/4" thickness.
Mounting: Primarily a wall-mounted unit, it requires three vertical brackets and two horizontal "L" support brackets for installation.
Design: Unlike newer models with revolving turrets, the 8400 often requires swapping physical cutting heads or blades for different materials.
