The Gunnar AiOX Computerized Mat Cutter (CMC) combined with the optional vacuum cutting table represents an advanced, high-efficiency solution for precision mat board cutting in custom and high-volume frame shops. This setup eliminates material slippage and maximizes edge-to-edge cutting precision.

Features & Specifications:

- Cutting Heads: Available with either a patented Hybrid single-head (automatically switches between 45° and 90° cuts) or the Professional dual-head system for simultaneous bevel and straight lines.
- Dynamic Depth Control: Automatically adjusts blade depth for varying board thicknesses up to 3.5 mm (and up to 5 mm for foam boards).High-Speed Throughput: Operates at speeds up to 1,000 mm/s, allowing an average mat opening to be executed in under 5 seconds.
- Zero Waste: Combines the flat, edgeless table design with the vacuum bed to cut edge-to-edge without margins

If you opt for the XL table size, you must choose between the vacuum bed or the COE Dual-Zone Cutting mode (simultaneous cutting on two independent left/right work surfaces). The manufacturer states these two specific configurations cannot be combined on the same machine.

- Vacuum cutting table: Best solution for overall fixation of the mat board, can be used with or without button finger clamps. And best, available for all AiOX cutter models.
- Dual zone cutting (COE mode): The COE mode is for simultaneous cutting on two work surfaces, left and right of the table. Special finger button clamp positioning. Very good solution for cutting larger production sets of same mat board design. Available for the AiOX Professional XL version only and not in combination with the vacuum table.
- T1 ENGRAVE tool: The multifunctional box making, scoring and debossing tool, available for most AiOX configurations.
- T2 SCRIBE tool: The multifunctional and variable mounting device for all different kinds of writing instruments and marker pens, for mat board decoration and writing effects, pen tool/holder, available for most AiOX configurations.
- CMD Crop Mark Detection Module: Module, based on a high resolution optical vision sensor, to automatically detect many types of print, cut and crop marks on different material surfaces. Comes with enhanced file import for SVG, DXF, PDF and more data formats. This system is also available as an upgrade kit for existing GUNNAR cutting machines.
