The KVAL 990-F4 (often referred to as the F-4) is a high-speed, automated pre-hanging door machine designed to process both interior and exterior doors and jambs. It is part of the F-Series line from KVAL Door Machinery and is known for its ability to handle 4" x 4" hinge machining and quick height changeovers using ball screw technology.
Specifications:
- Door Capacities: Accommodates door thicknesses of 1-3/8" and 1-1/4", widths from 18" to 48", and lengths of 6'8" or 8'0".
- Cycle Speed: Standard machining sequence takes approximately 10 seconds; full door-to-door productivity (including hinge mounting) typically ranges from 35 to 55 seconds.
- Machining Capabilities: Automatically routes hinge pockets on both the door and jamb, performs complete cylindrical lock machining (including faceplate), and can easily add a third deadbolt bore via the touch screen.
