The Norfield 3800LR is a specialized door lite cutting machine designed to cut glass openings (lites) and perform lock prep on wood, steel, and fiberglass doors. The "LR" designation specifically indicates the inclusion of an overhead template system, which allows for quick-change setups for common lite styles without the need for individual plywood templates for every job.

- Overhead Template System: Integrated into the Norfield 3800LR to eliminate the need for manual plywood templates when cutting standard 22" x 36" and 22" x 64" half and full lites.
- Multi-Material Capability: Equipped with adjustable RPM speed control to handle wood, fiberglass, and up to 18-gauge steel doors.
- Integrated Lock Prep: Standard functionality includes lock boring (1-1/2" to 2-1/8") and backset adjustments (2-3/8" to 2-3/4"). Many LR units also feature latch drilling and faceplate routing.
