The Vision 2550 CNC router is compatible with a braille attachment, specifically the Quill ADA Resin Braille Printer or the Raster™ Braille Inserter options. These tools allow the machine to create ADA-compliant signage.
Braille Attachment Details
The Vision 2550 does not use a "quill braille" system as a standard feature, but rather accommodates specialized attachments for braille production.
Quill ADA Resin Braille Printer: This is a third-party accessory that can be mounted on the Vision 2550.
It prints perfect resin ADA dots in seconds, which is described as being 10x faster than the traditional "drill-and-fill" method.
The resin dots can be wiped off if a mistake is made before curing with a UV flashlight, allowing for easy corrections.
It is designed for simplicity, allowing users to snap it onto their existing router/engraver and master its use quickly.
Automatic Raster™ Braille Inserter: This is an official optional accessory offered by Vision Engraving & Routing Systems for their 25 Series machines, including the 2550 model.
It enables the precise, automatic insertion of Braille beads (rasters) into the material.
The Vision Pro software includes Braille fonts and is fully compatible with the patented Raster™ Method.
